Bradley Greenwald and Reed Sigmund will star as Sesame Street's beloved comic duo Bert and Ernie, in Children's Theatre Company's Bert and Ernie, Goodnight. This production, which has been adapted for the stage by Barry Kornhauser, is presented by special arrangement with Sesame Workshop and VEE Corporation, and will run September 8-October 25, with an opening on September 12. Peter C. Brosius will direct.

In the musical comedy, poor Bert wants to sleep, but Ernie's outlandish antics unleash adventures of song, surprises, disasters and joy in a story of an unlikely, yet true, friendship. The show will feature songs from the original Sesame Street productions. The creative team will include G.W. "Skip" Mercier (scenery, costumes, puppets) and Joe Chvala (choreography).

As previously announced, Children's Theatre Company's season will also include the CTC's Teen Seen Council's Mayhem Poets (October 13t-November 7) and a comedic Cinderella (November 10-January 2). Additional productions will include Mr. McGee & the Biting Flea, According to Coyote, Iron Ring, Disney's Mulan, Jr. and The Biggest Little House in the Forest.
